Cumbria and the north of England have a wealth of talented designers, artists and crafts people and Hart Barn is a "living gallery" where samples of their work can be admired. Much of the interior and fittings have been commissioned for the property and we are delighted to introduce guests to the artists and source beautiful objects to take home.

Many local crafts people run courses which could be booked to coincide with your holiday, so if you fancy trying your hand at stone carving or weaving a willow stag, then do ask us for details.
